Terms of service
Last updated 2 August 2026
A template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before you rely on it.
The service
Shipshot composites screenshots you provide into store-ready images. We render at the pixel dimensions the app stores publish and verify each file before you download it.
Who owns what
You own your screenshots and the images you export. We claim no licence over them beyond what is needed to store and render them for you. We own the software, the frames and the templates.
What we do not promise
We cannot guarantee your app gets approved. Store review covers content, metadata and policy — dimensions are the one part we can be exact about, and correct dimensions are not the same thing as approval. Store requirements also change without notice; we track them, but the stores are the source of truth.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you lack the rights to.
- Do not use it to misrepresent an app — screenshots must show software that exists and behaves as shown.
- Do not resell raw API access or attempt to circumvent plan limits.
Billing
Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues to the end of the period. Refunds within 14 days of a first payment, on request.
Liability
Provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for lost revenue arising from a store rejection or delay.
